Maska Ads System — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers Maska Ads System (https://maska-ads-system.vercel.app), an internal advertising tool run by Maska (maskawraps.com), United Arab Emirates. It explains what data the app accesses, why, how it is used, stored and deleted. It applies only to this app; the store's general policy is at maskawraps.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Who uses the app

Only Maska team members who sign in with a @maskawraps.com Google account that an administrator has approved. The app is not offered to the public or to customers.

Data the app accesses

  • Google sign-in (openid, email, profile): your name and email address, only to check that you are on the team access list and to record who made a change.
  • Google Ads (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords): Maska's own Google Ads accounts — campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets and performance results (spend, clicks, impressions, conversions), and keyword ideas and search volumes from Keyword Planner. The app uses this to create and manage Maska's campaigns (always created paused for review) and to report results.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Shopify: Maska's own ad accounts, Instagram business account insights and store orders, to report sales that came from ads.
  • Public Instagram business profiles of competitors (follower and post counts), through Meta's business discovery API.

How the data is used

Only to run, measure and report on Maska's own advertising: creating and managing campaigns, showing results and weekly reports, and suggesting budgets, keywords and content. Summaries of advertising results are sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI service) to write reports and suggestions for the team; this is part of the app's reporting feature and the data is not used by Maska for any other purpose.

What we don't do with Google user data

  • We don't sell or rent Google user data.
  • We don't share Google user data with third parties except as needed to provide the app's features described above, to comply with the law, or with your consent.
  • We don't use Google user data to serve advertising to the signed-in user, or to build user profiles.
  • We don't allow humans to read Google user data except Maska team members using the app for Maska's advertising, or where needed for security or to comply with the law.
  • We don't access any Google Ads account other than Maska's own.

Maska Ads System's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

The app is hosted on Vercel and stores its data in private Vercel Blob storage, encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google access and refresh tokens are kept on the server only and are never shown in the browser. Sign-in sessions expire automatically, and only approved team accounts can sign in.

Keeping and deleting data

Reports, campaign records and research snapshots are kept while Maska uses the app and are deleted when they are no longer needed. To have your access removed or your data deleted, email us at the address below; we act on requests within 30 days. You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the app then deletes the stored Google tokens.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
