Inspired by the architectural patterns found in the Fahidi Historical District (AlBastakiya), traditional Sadu patterns and the old Arabic numerals, we've designed a modern & playful set of 3 candy cubes to celebrate Hag Ellaila, a traditional Emirati celebration on the night before the mid of Shabaan (the 8th month of the Islamic Hijri calendar) where children visit neighbours chanting folk songs and collecting candy.
Each cube contains a collection of nostalgic candy that were found in Emirati neighborhood grocery stores in the 80s & 90s. (The Candy cubes are also available without the contents, please write us on orders@maskawrap.com with your request)
This dice-like cube with old arabic numerals, that are less commonly used in the UAE now, bring a nostalgic feel to the box.
